HOME HEALTH AIDE
The Home Health Aide course, approved by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), is a 40 hours program that is designed for students who want to provide care in the home care setting. Graduates of the program will be issued a Certified Home Health Aide certification (CHHA) and 26 CEUs for their CNA license by the state of California.
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- A valid social security number and government issued ID
- A valid CNA license in California
- A valid CPR or BLS license
Applicants must complete and submit an enrollment agreement to ACI for consideration.

Students accepted into the Home Health Aide training program will be notified in person or via phone. Applicants accepted into the HHA program must submit the following: health and physical form, immunizations record and TB test. The applicant must not have any communicable diseases, infections, psychological disorders and other conditions that would prevent the successful performance of the responsibilities and tasks required in the education and training.
