RESTORATIVE NURSE ASSISTANT

This course is designed for Certified Nurse Assistants who desire to expand their restorative and rehab skill set. Additional emphasis on rehabilitation nursing care, family relationships and the impact of long-term illness on the family as well as the client will be included.  The Restorative Nurse Assistant course will receive a certificate of completion.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older
  • Proof of current CNA certification
  • Proof of current AHA Basic Healthcare Providers  (BLS) or CPR card
  • A valid social security number and government issued ID

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

Applicants must complete and submit a ACI enrollment agreement to ACI for consideration.

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

Students accepted into the RNA training program will be notified in person or via phone.  Applicants accepted into the RNA program must submit the following: health and physical form, immunizations record and TB test.  The applicant must not have any communicable diseases, infections, psychological disorders and other conditions that would prevent the successful performance of the responsibilities and tasks required in the education and training.
